Article Processing Charges

There is no fee for the manuscript submission and review. 

In an open access model, we promise that readers don't pay for the subscription fee to access online published articles. Authors or a supporting institution pay for the publication of the article. With the support of Article Processing Charges (APCs), the permanently unrestricted online access to published articles is allowed and our business can be kept sustainable. The Article Processing Charge provides full immediate access to the article on the publisher's website. The article processing fee covers the following costs:

- correction of stylistics and grammar of the manuscript;

- layout of the article;

- professional translation into English or literary proofreading of English-language articles;

- processing of the figures given in the manuscript;

- verification of the correspondence of sources of periodicals to the topic of the study, preparation of the list

- of references in accordance with Vancouver Style;

- DOI designation of the manuscript.

Articles will be charged according to the following standards since October 20, 2023.

To support equitable access to scientific publishing and reflect varying economic conditions across regions, Futurity Medicine applies a three-tier publication fee model:

The Editorial Board follows the official country income classification (low income, lower-middle income, upper-middle income, high income) established by the World Bank Group. The classification is updated annually on July 1 based on gross national income (GNI) per capita.

The current list of countries by income group is available at the official World Bank source: World Bank Country and Lending Groups.

The applicable publication fee is determined according to the author's country of affiliation and the journal's internal country classification system.

The Editorial Office reserves the right to verify the author's institutional affiliation and determine the applicable fee category in accordance with the journal's publication policy.
